About

Lahaina is a Los Angeles-based photo editor and advisor who works directly with photographers, brands, and publications.

She earned an expert knowledge of the photo industry while spending a decade in New York City producing, photo editing, and art directing for renowned clients. During her career, she has developed and managed several photography departments, implemented best practices, and successfully advocated for inclusive hiring and fair payment to artists.

With a BFA in Photography and working as a freelance photographer herself, she has also spent many years behind the camera. These experiences have led to her empathetic and practical approach to guiding photographers and understanding the particular challenges that face them.

For her, the most fulfilling aspect of this work has been the longstanding relationships with photographers and peers, rooted in deep listening, expansive collaboration, and shared inspiration.
